High Protein Pita Bread

This high protein Pita Bread is soooo easy to make and only takes 20 minutes! ( no joke)
Ingredients for 4 small pita's, feel free to double or tiple it and freeze the pita's.
Ingredients:
100 g SKYR ( I love using iSey Skyr), a lowfat greek yogurt or a high protein vegan yogurt
20 ml water ( only if using non vegan yogurt)
125 g flour 1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
garlic powder ( optional)
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, and yogurt and baking powder. Mix with your hands until the dough is sticky.
2. If using regular yogurt, add 20ml of water to the mixture. Skip this step if using vegan yogurt.
3. Form the dough into a ball and divide it into four equal pieces.
4. Roll each piece out until it is 1 cm thick. Use a glass or bowl to shape the pitas.
5. Optionally, sprinkle garlic powder on one side of each pita for added flavor.
6. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan. Cook each pita for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Enjoy your high-protein pita bread! These pitas pair perfectly with a yogurt dip, hummus, or as an accompaniment to soup or salad. 🍲 🥗
